Hi guys!
I'm finally back on this thing. Not sure how much longer it will last, but I'm enjoying the community of being able to offer opinions and talk about art - which I miss so much since leaving art school!

Sign of Hope

Have just finished my latest piece, returning to the origins of my artful youth, abstract realism with words of hope.
Its tough when you have in your mind what you want to create and then have to reproduce that onto canvas. Especially when you have 80% of it finished in the first couple of days and then it takes you 2 weeks to finish the bit that makes the painting.
Anyway, I've finally finished it and its all good.

Hey man thanks for your comments about my painting....I think you're right...I look forward to someday being able to paint a lot better, unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to take a painting class in college because I'm too busy with Graphics. Once again thanks for you crit. and I love your paintings, they're great!
